Together, the Chambers share expertise and provide joint initiatives for greater value and enhanced networking opportunities for Chamber members across APAC.

About SwedCham Indonesia

Sweden Chamber of Commerce Indonesia is a non-profit, member-driven organization dedicated to strengthening business, trade, and investment relations between Sweden and Indonesia.

Independent from any commercial affiliations, SwedCham provides a neutral platform for Swedish companies, entrepreneurs, and professionals operating in Indonesia to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge.

SwedCham works in close partnership with other Nordic chambers of commerce — DanCham and the Indonesia Norway Business Council — and aligns with EuroCham Indonesia to advance advocacy efforts on behalf of the European business community.

Through our events, initiatives, and collaborations, SwedCham promotes Swedish innovation, sustainable business practices, and long-term partnerships that contribute to Indonesia’s economic development and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

SwedCham Indonesia builds on the legacy of the Swedish Business Association, established in the early 1990s. Evolving with the growing bilateral relationship, the organization rebranded as SwedCham Indonesia in 2023. Today, SwedCham continues to foster trade, investment, and sustainable partnerships—working closely with DanCham, INBC, and EuroCham while remaining independent and non-profit.

Partnerships and Collaborations

Sweden Chamber of Commerce Indonesia works closely with several international business organizations in Indonesia. Through these partnerships, our members benefit from broader networks, policy dialogue, and access to valuable market insights.

SwedCham is a member of both the EU–Indonesia Business Network (EIBN) and the International Business Chamber (IBC).
EIBN, with support from the European Union, connects several European bilateral chambers in Indonesia and serves as an important entry point for European companies seeking information, market insights, and support when exploring business opportunities in Indonesia.
Through the IBC, SwedCham collaborates with other international chambers to represent the interests of the global business community in Indonesia. The IBC provides a forum for dialogue with Indonesian government institutions and works to promote a stable and transparent regulatory environment that supports trade and investment.

SwedCham also maintains close cooperation with Nordic business organizations in Indonesia, particularly the Danish-Indonesian Business Chamber (DanCham) and the Indonesia-Norway Business Council (INBC). Through this Nordic collaboration, the chambers organize joint events, business dialogues, and networking activities that strengthen the visibility of Nordic companies and encourage cooperation between the Nordic business communities operating in Indonesia.
