Edition 02 — Monitor ERP: Direct-investment entry into manufacturing software. Monitor ERP, a Swedish developer of ERP systems built exclusively for manufacturers, entered Indonesia stepwise: a first customer served from its Malaysian hub in 2015, annual presence at the Manufacturing Expo from 2022, and a direct investment establishing an Indonesian principal company in 2023. Edition 01 — Scania: Partnership-led growth in heavy transport. Scania, the Swedish manufacturer of trucks, buses and engines, entered Indonesia in 2004 through PT United Tractors as its sole distributor. The partnership expanded from off-road trucks for mining and construction to on-road vehicles, public transport buses and marine engines.
