Indonesia Included in Swedish Institute Study on Global STEM Talent

A new study by the Swedish Institute (SI) highlights Sweden’s strong international reputation as a destination for highly skilled professionals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The study surveyed STEM professionals in eight countries: Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Spain, South Korea, the United States, and Vietnam, providing insights into how Sweden is perceived as a potential career destination.

Introducing the findings for SwedCham Indonesia, Lars Dagerholt, Chairman of the Sweden Chamber of Commerce Indonesia, notes: “Indonesia is an increasingly important partner for Sweden in areas such as technology, sustainability, and advanced industry. The inclusion of Indonesia in this study reflects the growing importance of Indonesian talent in the global innovation economy.”
