SwedCham Indonesia is pleased to invite members to join a webinar hosted by SweCham Thailand, the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, on the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
The regulation applies from 12 August 2026 and sets new requirements for packaging placed on the EU market, covering sustainability, recyclability, reuse and packaging minimization. For companies exporting from Asia to the EU, the requirements bear directly on compliance and continued market access.
Geoffroy You, Vice President Sales and Marketing APAC at Nefab, will outline what PPWR means for exporters in the region: the key timelines, the practical preparation steps, and where packaging changes can reduce supply chain cost.
The session is relevant to members with manufacturing, distribution or sourcing operations in Indonesia that supply the EU market, whether directly or through group entities.
