Virtual Talk: Unpacking Why 80+% of AI Projects Fail and What To Do About It

SwedCham Indonesia invites members to a virtual talk with Dr Evan Shellshear, Principal at BCG X (BCG’s Data Science and AI division).

Studies suggest that as many as 80 percent of data science projects fail to achieve their stated aims. Drawing on decades of experience at leading organisations and years of research, Dr Shellshear will cut through the hype around AI and analytics, share why projects fail, and outline what firms should do to maximise the return on their AI investments.

Dr Shellshear holds a PhD from the Institute of Mathematical Economics at the University of Bielefeld and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology. He is the author of the Wiley best seller Why Data Science Projects Fail: The Harsh Realities of Analytics and AI, without the Hype.
