The EU–Indonesia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) represents a major step in strengthening trade, investment, and regulatory cooperation between the European Union and Indonesia. Once implemented, the agreement is expected to reshape market access, tariff structures, customs procedures, and the operating environment for EU companies active in Indonesia.
For Scandinavian companies — many of which already have long-term operations, supply chains, or market-entry ambitions in Indonesia — CEPA is not only a trade agreement, but a strategic framework that will influence competitiveness, compliance, and investment decisions over the coming decade.
